PRESS RELEASE
LOOK I A veteran officer, General Rolando D. Bautista (Ret.), who has led numerous successful military campaigns—including serving as the overall Ground Commander during the infamous Marawi Siege and as the 59th Commanding General of the Philippine Army—visited the premier Army education and training institution, the Training Command, Philippine Army, on 14 September 2024.
This momentous visit by LtGen Bautista was to conduct a Round Table Discussion (RTD) on the Art of Leadership with the Officer Candidate Course Class 61-2024. The RTD aims to develop foresight that will serve as a guide for the AFP’s future warfighting leaders.
By engaging in this type of activity, students continue to enhance their knowledge and skills through interaction with experienced officers who excel not only in administration but also in military operations. This kind of interaction enables the Officer Candidate School, TRACOM to be consistent source of Army leaders, instilling in them the standards of TRACOM that will contribute to the accomplishment of the Philippine Army's mission to become world-class, multi-mission ready, and cross-domain capable by 2040.
