Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac – The training of the first batch of the One Training Factory Concept (OTFC) of the Philippine Army successfully culminated at the Training and Doctrine Command, Philippine Army through a Closing Ceremony at Makabulos Grandstand, TRADOC, Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac on 12 July 2024.
The Candidate Soldier Course “Siklab Matatag” Class 792-2024 underwent a sixteen-week rigorous Basic Military Training (BMT) of Candidate Soldier Course that provided progressive, comprehensive, and balanced training that helped them transition from civilian to military life. These candidate soldiers are part of the One Training Factory Concept of the Philippine Army designed to centralize training for all candidate soldiers all over the country.
Brigadier General Danilo D Benavides PA, the Acting TRADOC Commander graced the ceremony as the Guest of Honor and Speaker and congratulated the products of the first batch of the OTFC.
Furthermore, the ceremony also included the entrustment of firearms to the new graduates that reflected the military's commitment to ensuring that its personnel are properly equipped and prepared to meet the challenges they may face in protecting the people’s right to live and defending our nation’s sovereignty.
