LOOK I The Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Philippine Army conducted a Tree Planting and Growing Activity, participated in by the personnel of Headquarters Service Company (HSC) and the students of the Sustainment Center (SC), Combined Arms Center (CAC), TRADOC, at the vicinity of Old Pistol Men Firing Range Area, Camp O’ Donnell, Capas, Tarlac on August 01, 2024.

TRADOC accommodates more or less 9,000 students annually, and this command envisions rehabilitating an estimated 2,125 hectares of military reservation land by 2028. This effort aims to minimize the effects of El Niño and La Niña, as these climate patterns affect temperature, precipitation, and other atmospheric conditions in various regions, particularly tree-barren areas such as Tarlac Province. Relatedly, 30 hectares were already utilized for regular tree planting activity to sustain the environmental commitment of the camp.

TRADOC remains dedicated to promote the national greening program of the government. This effort reflects TRADOC’s support to environmental protection and fostering a culture of sustainability.
