LOOK I The Chief of Staff, Philippine Army, Major General Potenciano C Camba PA, visited the Philippine Army Marksmanship Training Facility (PAMTF), Training and Doctrine Command, Philippine Army, Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac on 06 September 2024.

          The said visit was to conduct a physical inspection on the development of the Philippine Army Marksmanship Training Facility to be utilized during the Philippine hosting of the ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) by 2024. The ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) is an annual marksmanship competition between the armies of the member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

          MGen Camba brought with him 20 Giant Bamboo Seedlings. Prior to the inspection, he participated in the Tree Planting and Growing Activity located along TRADOC creeklines with Major General Danilo D Benavides PA, Commander TRADOC, Colonel Julius A Cabarloc MNSA PA, CS TRADOC, along with the eleven (11) STG Chairmen and eleven (11) STG Vice Chairmen TG for the AARM preparation. It is known that Bamboo are excellent option for reforestation and soil erosion control due to their rapid growth rate that helps mitigate climate change by reducing the amount of greenhouse gases.
