Camp O’Donnell – The Training and Doctrine Command, Philippine Army, conducted the formal Oath-Taking and Reception Ceremony of Officer Candidate Course Class 62-2025 at the Makabulos Grandstand, Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac on July 13, 2024.

          Three hundred fifty-four individuals who came from the different provinces across the country were formally received by the Initial Military Training Center through the Officer Candidate School during the ceremony that signals the start of their one-year military training as Officer Candidates of the Philippine Army. These aspiring leaders displayed exemplary talents and skills during the series of selection and deliberation conducted by Headquarters, Philippine Army.

          Brigadier General Ulpiano T. Olarte PA, Commander, Combat Engineer Regiment, Philippine Army, graced the ceremony as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. “You will be the vanguard of our nations defense, entrusted with safeguarding our sovereignty and securing a better future for all Filipinos,” BGEN Ulpiano emphasized.

          As the Philippine Army continues to become a world-class, multi-mission ready and cross-domain capable by 2040, TRADOC is committed to relentlessly train, and produce young men and women to be prepared for the challenges in defending the sovereignty and integrity of our sacred nation.
