LOOK I The Deputy Chief of Staff for Reservist and Retiree Affairs, J9, AFP, MGen Joel Alejandro S Nacnac, visited the premier Army education and Training Institution, the Training and Doctrine Command, Philippine Army on 11 September 2024.
The official visit of MGen Nacnac and OJ9 Team aimed to cascade the first-ever promulgated AFP Reserve Force Development (RFD) Strategy 2023-2028 to the organic personnel, students of career and specialization courses and the Officer Candidates in Training and Doctrine Command, Philippine Army. The primary purpose of the advocacy drive is to enhance knowledge of the substantial contributions of the Reserve Force to the attainment of the overall mission of the AFP. The officer candidates who will become future officers of the AFP need to understand the programs to effectively engage the Reservists in the field as force multipliers. The advocacy highlighted the Republic Act 7077 the AFP Reservist Act of 1991, and RFD-related policies.
As a training ground for future leaders of the AFP, TRADOC is committed to continue providing world-class training, fostering a culture of excellence, and inspiring the next generation of reservists.
