Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac – The Training and Doctrine Command, Philippine Army, through the Officer Candidate School, conducted the Rites of Passage Ceremony of Officer Candidate Corps Philippine Army (OCCPA) graced by the presence of Captain Ferdinand C Buscato PN (GSC), Assistant Chief of AFP Peace and Development Operations, as the Guest of Honor and Speaker held at Makabulos Grandstand, TRADOC, Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac on 11 May 2024.

          The Rites of Passage is a tradition wherein the senior class entrusts the command of the battalion to their direct juniors for the continuity of leadership within the organization. The ceremonial turnover of swords symbolizes the transfer of authority, functions, as well as duties and responsibilities.

          TRADOC ensures that the OCC training will be able to achieve its goal of providing the standard of education to the young officers for the Army towards a world-class, multi-mission ready and cross-domain capable defenders of our country.
