The Training and Doctrine Command, Philippine Army and its various offices and units participated in the 1st Quarter CY 2024 Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on 25 March 2024.

          Pangkat TRADOC performed the “Duck, Cover and Hold” procedure that started with the sound of the siren which signaled the drill. TRADOC continuously participates in this kind of disaster preparedness activities to test the readiness of its personnel, as well as the students to respond to any eventuality or disaster.

          The NSED is a quarterly exercise spearheaded by the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC) and the Office of the Civil Defense (OCD) to promote awareness and preparedness among general public, to include the Philippine Army.
