Camp O’Donnell, Capas Tarlac – The Training and Doctrine Command, Philippine Army formally welcomed hundreds of aspiring soldiers as part of the implementation of the One Training Factory Concept (OTFC). This concept envisions a centralized training venue for all candidate soldiers nationwide at Headquarters TRADOC, Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac on 01 March 2024.

          These aspiring new recruits belong to Candidate Soldier Course (CSC) Class 792-2024 who will undergo a 16-week rigorous training that will transform them into physically and mentally competent, confident, and capable defenders of our nation. They will undergo a progressive, comprehensive and balanced military training for them to embrace the core values of honor, patriotism and duty, which will be etched in every soldier.

          Major General Potenciano C Camba PA, the Chief of Staff, Philippine Army graced the ceremony as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. He proudly congratulated the future soldiers for taking the opportunity to become a part of the Philippine Army and reminded everyone to do their best during their training for them to pursue their dreams.

          Additionally, the Reception Rites for these aspiring soldiers happened on 04 March 2024 at the School for Candidate Soldier (SCS) Jungle Base as part of the traditional welcome to the trainees.

          As the Philippine Army continuous to become a world-class, multi-mission ready and cross-domain capable by 2040, TRADOC is committed to relentlessly train, and produce young men and women prepared for the challenges in defending the sovereignty and integrity of our sacred nation.
