CAMP O’DONNELL, CAPAS, TARLAC – A new Commander of Training and Doctrine Command assumes his post in a simple ceremony presided by LIEUTENANT GENERAL REMEO S BRAWNER JR, the Commanding General, Philippine Army. BRIGADIER GENERAL ALVIN V FLORES is a member of PMA Tanglaw Diwa Class 1992 designated by the Philippine Army as the new Commander of TRADOC in an acting capacity.

MAJOR GENERAL PETER ANGELO L RAMOS, the 57th Commander, bowed out from the military service after almost 40 years of rendering selfless service to the country and reaching the mandatory retirement age. His practical leadership provided the Philippine Army soldiers with the highest standard in education and training through strategic planning, improved curriculum/training management packages, responsive doctrines, a capacitated faculty, and staff, institutionalized wellness that conforms to the new normal, and a disciplined and organized TRADOC workforce.

“Similar to those who retired before me, I have mixed feelings about my retirement. I am happy that my 24/7 job will now be over but also sad that I will be leaving the military service which has been my way of life for almost four decades. I consider this retirement day of mine as a day of memories and a day of thanks.” MGEN RAMOS accentuated in his retirement message.

LTGEN BRAWNER congratulates and commends the former TRADOC Commander for his contributions to the betterment of Pangkat TRADOC. “The significance of training in the Philippine Army cannot be over-emphasized. Countless hours of rigid training have greatly enabled our servant soldiers to respond accordingly to the rapidly changing contingencies of the battlefield giving our troops the decisive edge over our adversaries to fulfill their mission and return unharmed,” LtGen Brawner stressed in his message.

Strict protocol of IATF were strictly followed during the entire activity.
