Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac – The Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Philippine Army formalized its partnership with O’Donnell High School for the work immersion of Senior High School students at TRADOC on 22 March 2023.

          The purpose of the work immersion is to provide students with a real workplace experience and internship support program to give the students the opportunity to be involved in hands-on experience or work simulation. The students’ immersion will run for 80 hours as requirement for graduation for the K-12 curriculum.

          Dr. Ronaldo A. Pozon, CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent Tarlac Province, thanked Pangkat TRADOC for the opportunity given to the Senior High school students of O’Donnell High School. “Take the opportunity, bring all the knowledge that you can take here in this camp because not everybody can come here, to work here, and yet here you are. So enjoy your life here and learn the best” he emphasized in his message, addressing to the students of O’Donnell High School.

          Colonel Enrique L Clemente, the Acting Chief of Staff Training and Doctrine Command, Philippine Army, representing Brigadier General Luis Rex D Bergante, Commander Training and Doctrine Command (COMTRADOC), Philippine Army warmly welcomed the partnership as it will help in molding the youth in nation building. “TRADOC as a learning institution is here to provide the opportunity for the senior students to have a worthwhile and enriching learning experience through the work immersion program. This partnership commits us to work together more closely towards our common goal of nurturing the technical knowledge and skills of the young learners when it comes to communication, human relation and most importantly in building their character and work habits as future leaders and catalyst for the social and economic transformation of our country.” highlighted in the message of COMTRADOC as read by Col Clemente.

          The partnership between the two educational institution will definitely rekindle the patriotism and nationalism of the senior high school students as they will closely observe military customs and traditions and be with the premier military training institution that is the source of Army standards.
