CAMP O’DONNELL, CAPAS, TARLAC – The Officers Candidate School (OCS) of the Training and Doctrine Command, Philippine Army conducted the traditional Recognition Rites of the Officer Candidate Course (OCC) “KASIKLAB” Class 53-2020 with LtGen Macairog S Alberto AFP, Commanding General, Philippine Army as their guest of honor and speaker together with MGen Cornelio H Valencia Jr AFP, Commander, TRADOC on 23 November 2019 at TRADOC Grandstand.
Bearing the class name “KASIKLAB” which simply means “to impress with explosive skill of excellent performance”. KASIKLAB class has been labelled to be the biggest class in the history of OCS in terms of numbers. The OCC CL 53-20 is composed of 212 Officer Candidate (170 males and 42 females).
They have successfully surpassed one of the hardest chapter of their pre-entry stage. Now, they are ready to be recognized officially. As the class continuously progress and reach another milestone in their military career, The OCC class 53-2020 is now ready to hurdle new challenges and move another step closer to their goals of becoming competent Philippine Army Officers.
