Graduation Ceremony of OCC Class 52-2019

      CAMP O’DONNELL CAPAS TARLAC – The Philippine Army welcomed seventy (70) new 2nd Lieutenants
from the Officer Candidate Course (OCC) of the Officers Candidate School (OCS), Training and
Doctrine Command, Philippine Army after they were declared graduate this morning, August 19, 2019.

      The newly graduated officers are consists of 63 male and 7 female. Lieutenant General Macairog S Alberto,
the Commanding General of the Philippine Army attended the graduation ceremony as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
Also present to witness the ceremony were Major General Roy Devesa, TRADOC, PA Commander,
Major General Robert C Dauz, Commander of MID, PA, Brigadier General Arwel Oropeza, Deputy Commander of NOLCOM,
TRADOC Deputy Commander Brigadier General Filemon D Mamaril Jr and the former CGPA Retired Lieutenant General Arturo Ortiz.
Leading the OCC “Alibtak”Class 52-2019 were P2LT Mario L Lenterna Jr who was awarded the
Secretary of National Defense (SND) Saber, P2LT Danniel DL Balagtas recipient of the Chief of Staff, AFP (CSAFP)
and Leadership Saber, and P2LT Reymar M Lauron received the Commanding General, PA (CGPA) Saber.

      By successfully completing the Officer Candidate Course you gain not only the learnings and competencies needed
to become Army leaders but also the opportunity to be part of the best service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
With your graduation we are ensuring that the Philippine Army will have the energy and dynamism to sustain the momentum
of our transformation journey to become a world-class army” Lieutenant General Alberto said during his speech.
The seventy (70) new officers were now ready to face challenges as junior military officers and be part of the regular
service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines after finishing one year of extensive physical and psychological training
which equipped them the right attitude, knowledge and skills.
