AMP O’DONNELL, Capas, Tarlac – Training and Doctrine, Philippine Army (TRADOC) officially
opened the Intercolor Basketball Tournament yesterday afternoon at OCS Basketball Court, TRADOC, PA.
This activity aims to promote sportsmanship, physical fitness, teamwork and provides opportunities
for building camaraderie through competitive sports.
The tournament started with a short program and opening remarks of
Brigadier General Filemon D Mamaril Jr, TRADOC Deputy Commander.
The first event started with the game between the Green Team and the White Team.
The green team is composed of personnel from Command Headquarters led by
BGen Mamaril and Chief of Staff Colonel Gulliver Señires. While the white team
comprises personnel from Headquarters Service Battalion (HSBn).
White Team defeated the Green team on a closed match.
The second match followed between the Red and Orange team at Mechanized Infantry Division (MID)
Basketball Court due to intemperate weather. Red team consists of personnel from
Initial Military Training Center (IMTC), while the Orange team is composed of personnel
from Training Service Support Center (TSSC). After a tight stretch, the Red team earned their first win.
There will be a series of matches from six teams. The two best teams who will be advancing on
the final round will be competing on the Championship Game scheduled on July 11.

Green Team – Command Headquarters/Captain Apelado
White Team - Headquarters Service Battalion (HSBn)/Captain Menor
Red Team - Initial Military Training Center (IMTC)/Major Martinez
Blue Team – Combined Arms Center (CAC)/Captain Tolentino
Yellow Team – Doctrine and Capabilities Integration Center (DACIC), Training Analysis Center (TAC) and Army Leadership Development Center (ALDEC)/Captain Facunla
Orange Team – Training Service Support Center (TSSC)/Major Calauad.
