The Ring Hop Ceremony of the Officer Candidate Course Class 52-2019
“Alibtak” was held on the evening of August 17, 2019 at the OCS Mess Hall,
Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac. Class rings began as a tradition at West Point
Military Academy in 1835

when students started wearing them to show their unity
and as a remembrance of the time they spent at the Academy. It became a military
tradition given to all graduating class in the Academy. It is a time-honored tradition
which came with a formal dinner and dance.

TRADOC Commander Major General Roy Devesa,
graced the Ring Hop ceremony as Keynote Speaker. On his speech he warmly congratulated
the proud parents and loved ones of the OCC Class 52-2019.
